Sesame-Crusted Tuna with Ginger-Garlic Sauce


1 pound Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna
4 tablespoons Black Sesame Seeds
3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
Juice of half Lime
1 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated
1 Garlic Clove, grated
1 tablespoon Green Onion, chopped
Salt, Pepper to taste
2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil, for frying


Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.  Season ahi on both sides with salt and pepper. Dredge tuna in sesame seeds on both sides.  Fry it for two minutes on one side, and one minute on the other side.

Ginger-Garlic Sauce

Combine soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, ginger, garlic, pepper, stirring with a whisk.
Serve it with Ahi.

Serves 2-3
